Kailash Mansarovar Yatra (also known as Kailash Mansarovar Tour) is a trekking route situated at western part of Tibet. Mount Kailash is considered as the sacred place for Buddhists, Hindus, and Jains for thousands of years. It is believed that the Lord Shiva had dwelled in meditation on its top. It has been pilgrimage site for centuries that people walking overland for weeks or months, feeling as though they are approaching the center of universe. Mt Kailash is also revert as the source of four of the great rivers of Asia, fueled by the water nearby holy Lake Mansarovar. Many pilgrims visit the place with full of devotion.

Kailash Mansarovar Yatra Overview
Kailash Mansarovar Yatra is a revered pilgrimage and trekking expedition to Mount Kailash and Lake Mansarovar. It is in the western part of Tibet. Mount Kailash and Lake Mansarovar hold a deep spiritual significance for Hindus, Buddhists, Jains, and followers of Bon religion. Mount Kailash standing at 6,638m is believed to be the abode of Lord Shiva. Lake Mansarovar is at an altitude of 4,590m, and is a sacred freshwater lake near the base of Mount Kailash. The maximum altitude coverage of this trek is to cross the Dolma La Pass at an altitude of 5,630m.
The trek begins from Darchen to Dirapuk. The route from Darchen to Dirapuk gradually ascents along the Lha Chu Valley. You can see a beautiful north face of Mount Kailash from Dirapuk. The route ascends from Dirapuk to Zuthulphuk via Dolma La Pass. You need to cross the challenging Dolma La pass in this trek. Dolma La Pass (5,630m) is the highest altitude coverage in this trek. After crossing the Dolma la Pass, you will descend towards Zuthulphuk. You will pass by Gauri Kund Lake, a holy lake revered in multiple religion including Hinduism, Buddhism, and the Bon religion. The route descends from Zuthulphuk to Darchen, which is the last day of this trek. This day is easier than the other days as you descend through valleys and rocky paths. Guesthouses and lodges are built there for the trekkers to accommodate while doing this trek. You can experience traditional foods of this region like Tibetan-style dumplings, Thukpa, Tsampa, etc. Trekkers can interact with the local people about the language they speak, way of living, and hospitality offered by the Tibetan people.

Day 01 – Arrival in Kathmandu airport (1345meters) transfer to hotel.
Day 02 – Visa Processing day.
Day 03 - Sightseeing around kathmandu Valley and Bhaktapur.
Day 04 - Trip prepraration day Visa Receiving day.
Day 05 - Drive from Kathmandu to Kyirung (2700 meters) via crossing Nepal and Tibet border 210km drive.
Day 06 – Drive from Kyirung to Saga (4640 meters) via Ghantula pass (5226 meters) 295km drive.
Day 07 - Rest and acclimatization day in Saga.
Day 08 – Drive from Saga to Mansarovar (4500 meters) Via Mayum La Pass (5200 meters) 466km drive.
Day 09 – After Puja at Mansarovar lake drive from Mansarovar to Darchen (4600 meters) 40km drive.
Day 10 – Drive from Darchen to Yemadwar 7km and trek to Derapuk (5210 meters) kailash parikrama day one 7hours walk.
Day 11 – Trek from Dirapuk to Zuthul Puk (4790 meters) via Doma La Pass (5613 meters) kailash parikrama day one 9hours walk.
Day 12 – Trek from Zuthul Puk to Darchen 2hours walk drive to Saga 479km drive.
Day 13 – Drive from Saga to Kyirung (4640 meters) via Ghantula pass (5226 meters) 295km drive.
Day 14 - Drive from Kyirung to Kathmandu (1317 meters) via crossing Nepal and Tibet border 210km drive.
Day 15 – Transfer to the international airport for your final departure.

CANCELLATION
- 20% of the trip cost will be charged for the confirmed trip getting canceled.
- 50% of the trip cost will be charged if canceled between 30 to 10 days before the trip departure date.
- No refund if canceled within 10 days of the trip date or in the case of not showing.
- Regrettably, in the case where the trek/tour cannot be completed due to the customer’s own problem, sickness, or unfavorable weather, there will be no refund.
- If the trekking/tour is extended more than the given itinerary extra charge will be applied accordingly.
- If the agreed trip cannot be organized due to bad weather or any unforeseen events, a similar trip will be organized (in mutual understanding with the travelers).
