The Everest Base Camp Luxury Trek gives the classic Himalayan experience with the premium level of service and comfort to the trekkers. While the route and the destination remain the same, Everest Base Camp, the journey is different than the standard or classic Everest Base Camp. This journey is redefined by upgraded facilities and great hospitality.
The trek begins with a beautiful flight to Lukla. As you kick off from Lukla, you’ll walk along the Dudh Koshi River, passing through the beautiful and peaceful Sherpa settlements. Along the trails, you are greeted by the views of glacial rivers, farmlands and mountains. Unlike the standard trek, the luxury trek offers the best accommodation in the best available tea houses or lodges featuring hot showers, comfortable bedding and Wi Fi facility.
Throughout the trek, the lodges in Phakding, Namche Bazar, Tengboche, Dingboche, Lobuche make sure that each day ends in warmth and comfort. The stay in Namche Bazar is one of the best highlights of the trek. It is the largest Sherpa town in the region. The place where you acclimatize and let your body adapt to the environment. From Namche, the trail continues to Tengboche. As you ascend through Tengboche, you are welcomed by Dingboche and Lobuche. The terrain shifts to rugged landscape. With each day you move closer to your destination while witnessing the views of peaks like Lhotse, Nuptse and Everest itself.
Reaching the Everest Base Camp is a personal achievement. Though the top of Everest is not visible from the base camp, you’ll stand tall at the base of Everest. The next morning you will hike to Kala Patthar (5,545 meters) which delivers the best panoramic views of Mount Everest and other surrounding peaks often covered by the golden light of sunrise. You will return to Lukla from Kala Pathhar from a 20-minute helicopter flight marking the end of the trek.

Lukla Flight
Dear Traveler, We wish to update you on Lukla flight details that may impact your itinerary. During peak seasons (March, April, May, October, and November), flights to Lukla will operate from Ramechhap/Manthali, approximately a 5 to 6-hour drive from Kathmandu. Conversely, in non-peak seasons (January, February, June, July, August, September, and December), flights are from Kathmandu. Please note that the airline determines flight operations based on traveler volume each month. Flight decisions are beyond our control.
Lukla flights are subject to delays or cancellations due to adverse weather, airport congestion, runway conditions, and topographical challenges. For Everest region treks, we recommend allocating an extra one or two days in your schedule to account for potential flight disruptions. This precaution ensures timely boarding of your pre-planned international flight. Thank you for your understanding and preparedness.

The cost of Everest base camp luxury trek depends upon the group size, duration and services included in the trek. The price for the Everest base camp luxury trek cost USD 2,575 per person for standard 12-14 day trek from Kathmandu to Everest Base Camp and back. The service typically includes domestic flights, permits, luxury accommodation, meals, an experience guide, and porters. A group of four people is required for the Everest base camp luxury trek, as the descent includes a helicopter ride shared with your group. It also allows for a shared experience, along with support of a professional group leader and local team.

Departure Dates
We have daily departures for this trip from March to May and from mid-September to mid-December. You can type in the number of passengers to book a reservation and select a date that is convenient for you. Due to group size, we never cancel a trip once you've made a reservation. If you would rather join the group, we will add more travelers on the selected date. You can let us know once you make a reservation or earlier.
If you want to cancel the trip for any reason, you can let us know at least 30 days in advance. We will refund your deposit. If you want to cancel the trip within a 30-day period, we will keep your deposit until you find out the next schedule.

The best time to trek to Everest Base Camp is during the spring season from March to May and autumn season from September to November. These months offers trekkers with clear skies, pleasant temperature and excellent mountain views. You can see clear and breathtaking panoramic views of Mount Everest, Lhotse and Ama Dablam. Along the trails, spring season showcases vibrant rhododendron blooms whereas in autumn season trekkers witness stable weather conditions which is ideal for trekking and photography. Each day while ascending, trekkers walk between 8 to 12 km, depending on the terrain, elevation gain, and acclimatization needs. During the descent, the group will take a helicopter ride from Gorakshep to Lukla .The starting point of this trek at Lukla sits at an elevation of 2,860 meters, while Everest Base Camp lies at 5,364 meters. Physical Preparation Guide for EBC Trek
The Everest Base Camp luxury Trek doesn’t require technical climbing skills but it does demand a good level of physical fitness. Many beginners have successfully completed the Everest Base Camp trek with our company, so mountaineering experience is not much required. However, normal level of physical fitness is necessary. People who regularly engage in fitness activities such as swimming, cycling, or cardio exercises find it easier to accomplish this trek. Trekkers will be walking 5 to 7 hours a day at high altitudes on average, often on rocky, uneven trails and sharp elevation gains. Trekkers with experience in long-distance walking or high-altitude trekking will adapt more easily, but even beginners can succeed with the right preparation and a slow, steady pace. If you are preparing for the Everest Base Camp trek, mountaineering experience is not much essential, but a good level of physical fitness is important.
Flight Details from Kathmandu or Ramechhap to Lukla
The Everest Base Camp luxury trek begins with a scenic domestic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. The short yet amazing flight lasts about 25 to 30 minutes, offering spectacular aerial views of the Himalayan Ranges. Helicopter flights are also available for more flexible and scenic option, with additional costs depending on the per person cost and group size. During the descent from the Everest Base Camp, the group will take a helicopter ride from Gorakshep to Lukla. Due to high air traffic and runway limitations in Kathmandu, many flights during peak seasons (spring and autumn) are operated from Ramechhap Airport (Manthali), located about 4 to 5 hours’ drive from Kathmandu. Due to frequent weather changes and bad weather condition in Lukla Airport, many flights are often delayed. Therefore, it is highly recommended to keep at least 1 or 2 extra days in your itinerary in case of flight delays or disturbances.
Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1345 meters)

When you arrive in Kathmandu, our office representative will be waiting for you at Tribhuvan International Airport. A private tourist vehicle will transfer you to your hotel. You can either relax or meet us for a detailed briefing about the 13-day Everest Base Camp Luxury Trek. Your first night will be spent at a hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 2: Pre-trip meeting and Sightseeing around Kathmandu Valley

Our private tourist vehicle will come to pick you up at 9 am for sightseeing around Kathmandu Valley. You will explore famous places like Pashupatinath, Bouddhanath, Kathmandu Durbar Square, and many more. You will be exploring Kathmandu Valley for half day with the city tour guide. After you finish your sightseeing you can visit us if you have any queries in the itinerary of the Everest Base Camp Luxury trek.
Day 3: Fly from Kathmandu to Tenzing-Hillary Airport in Lukla (2,800 meters), and trek to Phakding (2,610 meters)

After breakfast, you will be driven from the hotel to the domestic airport terminal of Tribhuvan International airport for an early morning flight to Lukla. Please note that during the trekking season, flights to Lukla may operate from either Ramechhap or Kathmandu, depending on weather and availability. The scenic flight takes about 35 to 40 minutes, landing at Tenzing-Hillary Airport in Lukla, the starting point of your trek. The trek to Phakding begins shortly after meeting our staff at the airport. The trail conditions on the way to Phakding are mostly stone-paved and dirt trails, with occasional short uphill climbs but generally a downhill walk. You will also cross several suspension bridges along the way. The walk from Lukla to Phakding covers a short distance of approximately 8 kilometers and takes around 3 to 4 hours of trekking. You will relax at Phakding, as it is the first day of the Everest Base Camp Trek Itinerary.
Day 4: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,480 meters)

After a warm breakfast, you will begin your trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar, following the Dudhkoshi River surrounded in a lively and scenic atmosphere. The trail takes you through beautiful pine forests and numerous suspension bridges, adding a memorable highlight before reaching Namche Bazaar. You will have your lunch at Jorsale, which is a resting point on your trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar. Along the way, you’ll pass through charming villages such as Baneker, Manjoo before arriving at the entrance checkpoint of Sagarmatha National Park. From here, a steep climb leads you up to Top Danda. As you approach Top Danda, you’ll be rewarded with your first breathtaking views of Mount Everest (8,848m), along with the impressive ridges of Mount Lhotse (8,516m) and Mount Nuptse (7,816m). The walking distance from Phakding to Namche Bazaar is approximately 12 to 14 kilometers and takes around 6 to 8 hours of trekking.
Day 5: Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar (3,480 meters)

Namche Bazaar is the most popular village in the Khumbu region, offering facilities of ATMs, Internet cafes, bakeries, restaurants and additional facilities. In your 14-day Everest Base Camp Itinerary, you can utilize this acclimatization day by doing a short trek to the viewpoint (Everest View Hotel) where you can see beautiful views of snowcapped mountains. The trail condition from Namche Bazaar to the Everest View Hotel gradually ascends along well-maintained dirt and stone-paved paths, with several short uphill climbs. This day is also a great opportunity to explore the beauty of Namche Bazaar and enjoy the facilities available for travelers.
Day 6: Trek to Tengboche Monastery (3,860 meters)

The trek to Tengboche ascends until we leave Namche Bazaar. The trek ascends through the lush forests and multiple stupas, one of which is built in memory of Tenzing Norgay Sherpa. This day is mostly dusty and windy, but it offers a panoramic Himalayan view. The trail condition of Namche Bazaar to Tengboche is mostly uphill climbs, especially as you approach Tengboche. You will have your lunch at Phungi Thanga, which is a resting point on your trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche. Tengboche is one of the best viewpoints along the Everest Base Camp Luxury Trek. Tengboche Monastery is the largest and most reveres monastery in the Everest Region. You can witness breathtaking panoramic views of mountains including the Mount Everest, Mount Lhotse, Amadablam, Mount Nuptse and Thamserku. The walking distance from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche Monastery is approxiametly 9 kilometers and takes around 5 to 6 hours of trekking.
Day 7: Trek to Dingboche (4,350 meters)

After breakfast at Tengboche, you will descend towards Debuche through alpine forests and cross the DudhKoshi River via another picturesque bridge. Along the way, you will pass several viewpoints offering breathtaking views of Mount Ama Dablam. The trek from Tengboche to Dingboche takes you through lush forests, rivers, and charming Sherpa villages, including Pangboche and Somare. The trail from Tengboche to Dingboche gradually ascends on dirt and rocky paths, with some uneven sections and occasional steep uphill slopes. You will have your lunch at Somare, which is a resting point on your trek from Tengbohce to Dingboche. In the final hour, you will gradually ascend to reach Dingboche. The walking distance from Tengboche to Dingboche is approximately 9 kilometers, taking around 5 to 6 hours of trekking.
Day 8: Day trip to Nagarsyang hill and trek back to Dingboche (4,710 meters)

Because of the higher altitude, Dingboche is the second acclimatization day as per the EBC trek itinerary of 14 days. Dingboche is well-facilitated with coffee shops, local teahouses, and a few shops. Dingboche also rewards you with breathtaking panoramic views of the Himalayas. You can hike towards Nagarsyang Hill, which offers spectacular Himalayan vistas and is one of the most popular viewpoints along the EBC Trek. The climb towards Nagarsyang Hill is short but includes some steep sections, with certain parts being rocky or uneven. The top of Nagarsyang Hill provide 360-degree virews of Mount Makalu, Mount Lobuche, Baruntse, Thamserku, Ama Dablam, Nuptse and many more majestic mountains vistas.
Day 9: Trek to Lobuche (4,920 meters)

After breakfast, you will begin your trek toward Thukla, our lunch stop. The trail starts with a gradual ascent after crossing the stupa, which separates the paths to Nagarsyang Hill and Lobuche. Along the way, enjoy stunning views of Mount Cholatse and Taboche. You’ll also see Dzongla Lake, Thukla Pass, and the striking lateral moraine of the Khumbu Glacier. You will have your lunch at Thukla, which is a resting point on your trek from Dingboche to Lobuche. From Thukla, you’ll ascend to the Thukla Pass Memorial, where you will observe the stone memorials constructed in tribute and for the memory of the departed souls of climbers. The trail continues with spectacular views of Mount Pumori, Nuptse, and Khumbutse. In a usual hike towards Lobuche, you might become tired walking across the mountainous terrain. Only a few residences exist in Lobuche.
Day 10: Trek to Everest Base Camp (5,364 meters) then back to Gorakshep

Today is the special moment that every trekker dreams in the EBC Trek, standing at the base of the world’s highest mountain. After breakfast in Lobuche, you will gradually ascend passing Pyramid- an Italian research center, a renowned high-altitude scientific station in the Everest region. It will take 2 to 3 hours to reach Gorakshep, where you will stop for lunch. After lunch, it’s a 3 to 4 hours to Everest Base Camp. The trail to Everest Base Camp is mostly rocky and uneven, with several uphill sections and a few steep slopes along the Khumbu Glacier. The base camp is breathtaking, offering spectacular views of the Nuptse, Khumbutse, Lhotse and Pumori mountain. After exploring the base camp, you will hike back to Gorak Shep for an overnight stay.
Day 11: Hike up to Kalapattar (5,555 meters) early in the morning then fly back to Lukla by Helicopter (2,800 meters)

You will start your hike to Kala Patthar early in the morning to catch the breathtaking sunrise. Along the way, you’ll enjoy the closest and most majestic views of Mount Everest. After witnessing the sunrise from Kala Patthar, you will return to Gorak Shep for breakfast. After having your breakfast, you will have a scenic flight back to Lukla. You will get to see beautiful mountain views from the helicopter while flying back to Lukla. After reaching Lukla, you can enjoy the serene town’s vibrant atmosphere facilitated by the pub, teahouses, café, souvenir shop, lounge and hotel. You can enjoy and fully celebrate this day as your achievement, and enjoy the moment with your trekking group.
Day 12: Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu

After having breakfast, you will have a scenic flight from Lukla to Kathmandu taking about 35 to 40 minutes. Please note that during the trekking season, flights to Lukla may operate from either Ramechhap or Kathmandu, depending on weather and availability. After arriving at the airport, you will be transferred to the hotel in Kathmandu via private tourist vehicle.
You will conclude your 14 days of Everest Base Camp Trek. One of our airport representatives will be there with you to the Tribhuvan International Airport for your departure back home.

- 50% of the trip cost will be charged if canceled between 30 to 10 days before the trip departure date.

- Regrettably, in the case where the trek/tour cannot be completed due to the customer’s own problem, sickness, or unfavorable weather, there will be no refund.
- If the trekking/tour is extended more than the given itinerary extra charge will be applied accordingly.
- If the agreed trip cannot be organized due to bad weather or any unforeseen events, a similar trip will be organized (in mutual understanding with the travelers).
