Day 01 –  Arrival in Kathmandu airport (1345meters) transfer to hotel.

Day 02 – Drive from Kathmandu to Syabru Besi (1400 meters) 5hour drive.

Day 03 – Trek from Syabru Besi to Gatlang (2200 meters) 5hour walk.

Day 04 – Trek from Gatlang to Tatopani (3607 meters) 6hour walk.

Day 05 – Trek from Tatopani to Thuman (2338 meters) via Brimdang and Nagthali(3165 meters) 7hour walk.

Day 06 – Trek from Thuman to Briddim (2229 meters) 6hour walk.

Day 07 – Trek from Briddim to Syabru Besi 3hour walk and drive back to Kathmandu.

Departure Dates

We have daily departures for this trip from March to May and from mid-September to mid-December. You can type in the number of passengers to book a reservation and select a date that is convenient for you. Due to group size, we never cancel a trip once you've made a reservation. If you would rather join the group, we will add more travelers on the selected date. You can let us know once you make a reservation or earlier.

If you want to cancel the trip for any reason, you can let us know at least 30 days in advance. We will refund your deposit. If you want to cancel the trip within a 30-day period, we will keep your deposit until you find out the next schedule.

The Langtang Tamang Heritage Trek covers a distance of approximately 65 to 75 kilometers (40 to 47 miles), starting from Syabrubesi and passing through Gatlang, Tatopani, Thuman and Bridim before returning. Each day while ascending, trekkers walk between 8 to 12 km, depending on the terrain, elevation gain, and acclimatization needs. Trekkers ascend around 2,200 meters after starting from Syabrubesi to Tatopani, and then descend gradually through the Thuman and Briddim village. The starting point of this trek, Syabrubesi, sits at an elevation of 1,400 meters, while Gatalang lies at 2,200 meters and Tatopani at an altitude of 3,607 meters. Tatopani is the highest point of the trek and Nagthali offers you with beautiful views of mountains.
