The monsoon season is wet and leech-prone in lower regions but is great for Upper Mustang. To trek in the Annapurna Region, trekkers will require ACAP Entry Permit, TIMS Card (Trekkers’ Information Management System).

Some variations include shortening the Annapurna Circuit by flying out from Jomsom to Pokhara, combining ABC and Mardi Himal routes.
