Everest Easy Tour is an 8-day Everest tour that is perfect and designed for the seniors’ travelers who dream of experiencing the Himalayas without physical tiredness or long and tough trekking routes. This trek itinerary includes gentle walking paths, optional horse rides and scenic helicopter flights to make the Everest Region accessible, safe and comfortable for all. It is a relaxed adventure that keeps physical tiredness away and is perfect for differently abled people. This tour offers you beautiful and panoramic views of the mountains, peaceful Sherpa villages and well-paced days and brings the beauty of the Khumbu region close to you.

The tour begins with a scenic mountain flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (also referred to as the gateway to Everest Region). You will spend the day acclimatizing and enjoying the fresh mountain air and surrounding landscapes. From Lukla, you will take a helicopter flight to Everest Base Camp, which is the main highlight of this tour. From the helicopter, you will be able to see beautiful mountains which include a close-up view of Mount Everest. Upon reaching the Everest Base Camp, the helicopter brings you comfortably back to Syangboche. The next day starts with an easy and gentle walk to Khumjung which is one of the most scenic and culturally rich Sherpa villages in the region. For those who look for comfort, a horse ride option is available. It is a short walk but offers the views of snow-capped mountains and opportunities to explore the Sherpa lifestyle. The tour continues with a pleasant walk or horse ride down to Namche Bazar, where the travelers will explore the busy Sherpa market, local handicraft shops.

To maintain comfort and minimize the physical tiredness, the next day includes a short helicopter flight from Namche Bazar to Lukla which allows you to enjoy the panoramic views without the need for long treks. On the final day, you fly back to Kathmandu.

Throughout the entire tour, you will enjoy beautiful mountain panoramas, aerial views of Everest Base Camp, gentle short walks and Sherpa culture- all without the challenges of high-intensity trekking.

Everest Easy Tour for Seniors Outline

Day 01 Arrival in Kathmandu airport. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02 Sightseeing day around  Kathmandu valley. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03 Fly to Tenzing and Hillary Airport in Lukla (2800 meters). Overnight at Guesthouse.

Day 04 Early Morning we will take a helicopter fly to Everest base camp. Overnight at Sherpa panorama hotel (3880 meters).

Day 05 Trek  down to Namche Khumjung (3480 meters) 2 hours and sightseeing around Khumjung. Overnight at Guesthouse.

Day 06 Trek down to Namche bazar by horse and exploring around Namche bazar. Overnight at Guesthouse.

Day 07 Early morning fly back to Lukla (2800 meters) by helicopter. Overnight at Guesthouse.

Day 08 Fly back to  Kathmandu by plane in the morning. Overnight at hotel.

Day 09 Leisure day in Kathmandu Overnight at hotel.

Day 10 Transfer to international airport for your final flight departure.
